24.04.10: POMOCA Pro Team Troillet-Ecoeur-Anthamatten win and beat a new record on Patrouilles de Glaciers! The POMOCA Pro Team racers and members of the Swiss team Florent Troillet, Yannick Ecoeur and Martin Anthamatten pruned 20 minutes off a previous speed record set in 2006, crossing the finish line in 5h52min. The route is 53km long and includes 4,000m of elevation gain. The 3 athletes choose POMOCA Race skins (62 and 59mm wide) for this race, with long flat gliding parts and big temperature changes (from -10º in Tête Blanche to +15º at the arrival line). Florent Troillet won as well this way the ISMF World Cup 2010, since Patrouille des Glaciers was the last race of the season. The second place was for the Italian POMOCA Racer Manfred Reichegger and the third place for the Spanish POMOCA Racer Kilian Jornet.
