14.03.10: Troillet-Jornet and Pedranzini-Martinelli won Pierramenta 2010 and put POMOCA again at the top of an international Podium
The Pierramenta, a 4-day race with over 10.000m uphill and almost 100kms, known as the Tour de France of ski mountaineering, was held last week in Beaufort (France) from the 11th to the 14th March.
The Spanish-Swiss team Kilian Jornet-Florent Troillet (Pro Team POMOCA) lead the race from the first day, providing no chance for advancing competitors. The advantage after 3 days was clear: more than 8 minutes in front of the second team. In second place the French Team Florent Perrier-William Bon Mardion (Pro Team POMOCA) and 3rd were the Italians Manfred reichegger - Dennis Brunod (Pro team POMOCA).
In the female category, the victory was also unquestionable for Italians Roberta Pedranzini-Francesca Martinelli (Pro team POMOCA), followed by The Spanish-French team Mireiá Miró-Laetitia Roux (Pro team POMOCA).
This race confirmed once more the supremecy of POMOCA as the best skins in the world today. The skins were submitted to hard weather conditions every day (4-7 times uphill daily, with temperatures down to -15º) and they held without even any minor issues.
