20/02: Kilian Jornet wins again in Etna and leads the World Cup The Catalan racer Kilian Jornet (Pro Team POMOCA) this weekend won his second World Cup Race and leads the general ISMF World Cup rank. The podium was completed by the Italian Manfred Reichegger (IT) and Florent Perrier (FR), also members of the Pro Team Pomoca. In the female caterogy, the Pro Team POMOCA monopolised the podium with Roberta Pedarnzini (IT), Francesca Martinelli (IT) and Mireia Miró (ES). In extremely difficult conditions (100km/h wind, and 9 uphills), the POMOCA skins demonstrated once again to be the best and most reliable skins: extreme gliding properties to be in first place and easy use and good glue to not lose a second in the changes. Next week, the Ski Mountaineering World Championships are beginning in Andorra, where the Pro Team POMOCA has an excellent chance again to retain the World Champion titles in several categories. We will follow the event and inform you with live news from Andorra. World Cup rank after Etna: 1. Kilian Jornet (ES, Pomoca, 333 points) 2. Manfred Reichegger (IT, Pomoca, 332 points) 3. Florent Troillet (CH, Pomoca) |
